This month ASPPA will be launching the Business Managers & Owners Council (BMOC). BMOC is a new membership add-on designed for ASPPA members who are either owners or senior executives of a qualified plan administration business. Among the diverse offerings BMOC will provide are two conferences in 2015 specifically designed for business executives and managers. Along with the existing annual Women Business Leaders Forum (WBLF) there is the new Business Executives and Managers (BEAM) Conference.
The new BEAM conference will be both effective and efficient; specifically designed for busy owners and executives. It will be an easy access fly-in conference held at the Bush Intercontinental Airport’s Sheraton North Houston Hotel Jan. 25–27, 2015. The conference will be presented by experts from both within and outside the industry. Topics include:
The BEAM conference is meant to be engaging and participatory. The early registration fee for ASPPA members is $575 and, for its inaugural year, BEAM conference registrants who are ASPPA members will receive a free BMOC membership for 2015 (a $250 value). The non-ASPPA member early registration rate is $825. Registration opens Oct. 20, 2014. The WBLF will be held on June 8-11, 2015, at the Francis Marion in Charleston, SC. Registration opens for WBLF on Feb. 17, 2015. The conference fee and agenda will be available in the near future.
