Best Practices for Administering Auto Enrollment Plans

Automatic enrollment has proven to be very effective at increasing participation. Still, it appears to be not necessarily the hoped-for panacea — average contribution rates might stagnate without additional plan design considerations. And it doesn’t work for every client.

In “Best Practices for Administering Auto Enrollment Plans,” a webcast that will be held from 2:00 to 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, J.J. McKinney, Principal/Chief Operations Officer, Retirement Strategies, Inc. will examine the successes of automatic enrollment, plan design considerations and types of clients that might be better served by looking for solutions elsewhere. Webinar attendees will learn to:

  • effectively communicate the benefits and potential drawbacks of various automatic enrollment designs;

  • analyze demographic information and testing results to formulate client-focused recommendation; and

  • recognize the importance of engaging clients in plan design conversations that address the needs of all of the plan’s stakeholders.
