1984: Deficit Reduction Act of 1984 (DEFRA) enacted
1988: ASPA joins Council of Presidents (COP)
1988: First 401(k) regs proposed
1998: First White House Savers Summit
1998: IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998 enacted
2012: Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) enacted
