Oregon Seeks Feedback on OregonSaves

The Oregon State Treasury is seeking the views of payroll providers and experts about OregonSaves, the state retirement plan that would provide coverage to employees whose employers do not offer a retirement plan, the self-employed, part-time employees and those who are not eligible for an employer plan.

The state Treasury plans to host a meeting with payroll providers on Feb. 21 to discuss how to ensure that the process for facilitating OregonSaves and making deductions is clear and aligned with how employers and payroll providers do business already.

OregonSaves is set to launch in July with a small pilot group of businesses in order make sure it works before the state Treasury embarks on a broader, phased rollout.

Parties interested in attending the meeting or providing feedback may contact the state Treasury for more information at [email protected].
