Ethics 2015: Circular 230, Professionalism and Case Studies

By ASPPA Net Staff • November 25, 2015 • 0 Comments
It’s in a retirement practitioner’s interest to follow ethical practices. To help in doing so, one needs the ability to professionally and ethically deliver service to clients — and an understanding of Circular 230 doesn’t hurt, either.

In “Ethics 2015: Circular 230, Professionalism and Case Studies,” William C. Grossman will provide an overview of Circular 230, as well as a discussion of professionalism in the electronic workplace of 2015. He also will present interactive case studies based on calls and e-mails from clients and discuss how the ASPPA Code of Conduct applies to the scenarios presented.

Webinar attendees will learn:

  • how Circular 230 applies in the real-life case study scenarios;
  • how ASPPA’s Code of conduct applies in different ethical situations; and
  • what an employer and an employee must keep in mind about ethical professionalism in the electronic age of computer work and social media.
