Description
3(16) administration has been around for a couple of years now and the pressure on TPAs to do this work remains. Is this just a fad, or is it here to stay? What services are people performing under this model? What are the advantages and disadvantages to a client of having 3(16) services performed? And, most importantly, what are the positive attributes and challenges faced by TPAs who do this work? Ilene Ferenczy, who focuses much of her practice on advising TPAs and other service providers to plans, addresses these questions and more.

Key Takeaways:
1. What are the risks of being a 3(16) administrator?
2. What challenges do 3(16) TPAs face that may not be expected?
3. What are the biggest mistakes TPAs make when deciding to do 3(16) work and how can they be avoided?
