About the Speakers
Ron Culverson manages retail sales and business development for PlanMember. He leads the business development team responsible for supporting nationwide Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory sales. Ron has led workshops and webinars on business succession planning for financial advisers, providing best practices and options for succession decision making. Before joining PlanMember in 1994, he was a corporate sales and training manager with Great Western Financial, a Fortune 500 diversified banking and financial institution. Ron holds FINRA series 6, 7, 63, 24, 26, 53, and 65 securities licenses, as well as a California Insurance license
Kevin Twohy has primarily worked with financial advisers over the last 36 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and background to share regarding proven solutions to succession planning for financial advisers. With client assets ranging from $5 million to over $500 million, he has talked with and coached hundreds of advisers on strategies, challenges, and opportunities of personal succession planning. Licensed for securities and as an investment adviser representative (FINRA Series 7, 24, 66) with PlanMember Securities since 2003, Kevin currently assists advisers in the decision process regarding their broker/dealer affiliation. Prior to joining PlanMember, he was vice president of recruit marketing for Cambridge Investment Research, an independent broker/dealer with over 3,000 representatives located in Iowa.
