How do I register my employees for the RPF Modules?

Submit the PDF order form for each candidate via email, fax, or mail. The registration process cannot be completed from your ASPPA account.

How do I earn the RPF Certificate?

The RPF Certificate is earned by passing the final exams for each of the six modules. A score of 75% or better is required to pass.

Do I have to purchase all the modules at one time?

No, you may purchase the modules individually, but it is much more cost effective to purchase them at the same time.

Do I have to complete all modules in one year?

Although the access to the exam and study materials is discontinued at the end of your access period, you may still complete the RPF Certificate at a later date if you choose. Each module is valid for eight and a half years from the date passed (see ASPPA Exam Expiration Policy).

What happens when the access period ends?

Access to course materials will be discontinued at the end of the access period. Certain parts of the course (practice exams, study guides, and handouts) can be downloaded to your computer prior to the end of the access period, for your extended personal use. All exam attempts will expire and may not be postponed.

What do I need to do in order to successfully complete a module?

The only requirement for completing a module is a passing score on the final exam. Use of additional study materials is recommended, but not required. Once you have passed the final exam you will immediately receive a certificate of completion for that module.

How long does it take to complete the RPF Certificate?

Study time depends on the module and the experience level of the candidate. The average candidate takes approximately 15-30 hours to complete all modules.

What happens if I fail a final exam?

Each module contains three attempts for the final exam. If you fail an attempt, you may retake the exam using the other two attempts. Candidates who do not pass any of the attempts must wait until the next calendar year to repurchase and retake the exam(s) for the failed module(s).

I failed one of the modules. Can I buy the individual module?

Individual modules are  available for purchase through the Marketplace.

How many CE credits are awarded for completing the RPF Certificate?

Successful completion of each module awards 2.5 ASPPA CE credits. For more information click here.

How often is the product updated?

Updates to the course are made at the end of each calendar year.

If errata are found, updates will be made to the pretest, study materials, interactive practice activities, or exam questions throughout the program year. These will be noted in the “Updates and Errata” section of the online course and on the Errata and References.

Is the RPF eligible for ERPA CE?

2 ERPA credits may be awarded for successful completion of each module.
