2016 ASPPA BMOC Conference Agenda Available

March 20-22, 2016 marks the dates for the second annual ASPPA Business Managers and Owners Council (BMOC) Conference. This year’s conference has been moved to a new location, the Hilton Rosemont Hotel in Rosemont, Ill. — just a short distance from the easily accessible Chicago O’Hare airport. The Hilton is situated in the heart of the Rosemont Convention Center district with many great entertainment and dining venues within an easy walk (and downtown Chicago is a short CTA train ride away).

A committee of BMOC members has been hard at work on an agenda specifically tailored to the needs of senior managers and owners of pension administration businesses. Topics to be covered include:

  • The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Remote Employees.
  • Mapping the Marketplace DNA: What is Driving Profit in TPA Practices?
  • Contented Cows Give Better Milk – Your People…Your Profit.
  • Cybersecurity: Are You Protected?
  • Washington Update — What to Expect in 2016.
The meeting schedule includes plenty of time for peer group interaction and over 100 attendees from all over the country are expected. (Only owners and senior managers of pension administration or actuarial services firms are eligible to attend.) To facilitate networking, all attendees are invited to a welcome reception scheduled for Sunday, March 20 and a sponsors dinner on Monday, March 21 at the nearby 5 Roses Irish Pub.

The cost to attend for ASPPA members is only $595 if registration is received by the early registration cut-off date of Feb. 6, 2016 (and it will include credit for 2016 BMOC dues)!! A very favorable group room rate of only $129 per night is available to attendees as well.

I look forward to seeing you there.

James R. Nolan is Chairman of The Nolan Company, and is a BMOC Conference Committee member.
