April 2-4 will mark our third annual Business Managers and Owners Council (BMOC) Conference. The conference will once again be held at the Hilton Rosemont in Chicago, as it was so well-received last year. Early registration ends Feb. 17!
I have had the pleasure of working on the conference committee for the past three years and I am extremely excited about this year’s agenda. It promises to be fantastic! And there will be plenty of time for networking which is always a highlight of the conference.
One of the sessions I’m looking forward to is “Victors without Victims: Managing Conflict for a Positive Outcome,” led by Audrey Nelson. She’ll provide guidelines and techniques for opening lines of communication, boosting morale and fostering teamwork in conflict situations. What business owners and managers don’t encounter these situations?
I have had the opportunity to hear Audrey on several occasions. All I can say is that she is a speaker you will not forget. She delivers a great message in a very entertaining style.
