ASPPA Cincinnati Regional Conference: Registration Is Now Open!

Inside ASPPA

Are you tired of the everyday grind? Looking for an opportunity to take a step back and re-energize yourself? Earn some CE credits by attending the last ASPPA live conference offered during 2019. The ASPPA Cincinnati Regional Conference will be held Nov. 11-12, 2019 at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter.

Laws & regulations are constantly changing, as are the dynamics of our workforce. Get inspired by the latest news from industry experts, including Kizzy Gaul, Rich Hochman, Craig Hoffman, Nathan Holmes, Jim Kais, Bob Kaplan, Kelsey Mayo, Wayne McClain, Hans Nienaber, Robert Richter, Wendy Shaw, Derrin Watson and Thomas Zych.

You can expect to obtain valuable insight into what trends and concerns are getting the most attention in the industry. This conference offers a little bit of everything for all. I enjoy the breakout sessions that offer smaller more personalized group discussions. Interactive sessions are also offered in which attendees will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions, as well as network with one another. In addition, there will be a networking reception at the end of the first day.

I am excited to learn more about cash balance plans and gain a better understanding of EPCRS by working through EPCRS Self-Correction case studies. I also look forward to Craig and Derrin updating us in a session entitled, “Litigation Update-Legal Actions and Courtroom Decisions Influencing Tomorrow.” And, of course, I cannot wait to hear Derrin’s latest tune! The final session is in an Ask the Experts format in which you can ask several of our speakers questions to gain additional insight into some of the hot topics.

Attending this conference keeps me up to date on laws, regulations and trends and the impact they have on my clients. It provides me with the opportunity to collaborate with peers in an informal setting to discuss best practices for how their firms are handling issues and trends. I firmly believe that to provide the utmost service to clients and provide them with the best retirement plan options and features to best meet their needs, we need to be informed and knowledgeable about the legislative updates and industry trends.

This is your time to step back and reflect upon the past year, be engaged by leading industry experts and ignite your passion about our industry and the effects we all have on assisting individuals to achieve their retirement goals.
