ABOUT THE SPEAKER

William Karbon, MSPA, CPC, QPA

Bill is an Executive Vice President and Director of Compliance with CBIZ Insurance Services, Inc. in Hamilton, N.J.  He is an Enrolled Actuary and Certified Pension Consultant and holds a B.A. degree in economics from Rutgers University. Additionally, he is a Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and the ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA).  

Bill, who has over 30 year of experience in the retirement field, is the Vice President of ACOPA and has co-chaired the ASPPA Annual Conference Committee, ACOPA Advanced Actuarial Conference Committee and the ASPPA Professional Conduct Committee.  He has been a featured speaker for professional organizations such as ASPPA, ACOPA and SunGard, authored the Pension Roundup on freeerisa.com, technically reviewed books on 401(k) plans and has been an instructor for advanced consulting classes sponsored by ASPPA. In October 2013, Bill received ASPPA’s 2013 Educator Award, which recognizes outstanding educators from the ASPPA membership who have made significant contributions to retirement plan education.
