Review of Correction Options for Late Deposits of 401(k) Withholding

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

2:00 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. ET

Speaker: Janice M. Wegesin, CPC, QPA, President, JMW Consulting, Inc.

The webcast outline will be available soon!

While the DOL has issued some absolutes regarding the deposit of employee withholding, facts and circumstances may warrant identifying deposits that might be late using a different yardstick. This webcast will provide some context for decisions regarding the timeliness of deposits and give the audience an opportunity to participate in surveys and polling to share experiences and perspectives. The program will include a comprehensive review of the correction process for late employee withholding, the use of the online calculator, preparation of Form 5330 filings, along with VFC applications.

Attendee Takeaways:

    • Describe the correction process for late employee withholding
    • Assist clients with VFC applications
    • Identify when the DOL online calculator may be used and draft Form 5330
