When the DOL issued the 408(b)(2) and 404(a)(5) regulations, there was a flurry of activity by plan sponsors and service providers. We have now dealt with these new rules and DOL enforcement activities for two years. As a result, it's a good time to take a step back and look at what we have learned, the issues that still need to be resolved and what to expect from the DOL on a going forward basis.
Attendee Takeaways:
- Find out which updates will need to be made as a result of the regulations, and when
- Learn what the DOL is proposing, and whether it will be required
- Find out which enforcement activities the DOL is considering
- Learn more about the impact upcoming proposed regulations will have on participant benefit statements
