Are You Out of Step?

You may have missed National Dance Day (Sept. 21 — mark your calendars for next year) — but here’s something you won’t want to miss.

After all, what better time to remember how we tore it up at that event’s ’80s concert last year (and to share with potential 2019 attendees what you missed)?
 
That concert — heck, the whole conference — was a blast! When we weren’t bustin’ moves, we were soaking up great presentations by industry insiders, swapping war stories in workshops, networking all over the place and partying…maybe a bit too much (strike that — can’t happen!).
 
And, guess what? We’re ready to do it all over again, and this year in a whole new way.

Now, I’m not sayin’ that anyone —including me! — will ever come close to topping my MC Hammer moves last year (Can’t Touch This!) but I’m game to hark back to the Age of Aquarius during ASPPA 2019’s salute to the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with Groovin’ on Tour. (Hey, 2 Legit 2 Quit!). We’re talking members of the Johnny Winter Band, the Edgar Winter Group, Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Groovin’ with Gene Cornish of The Rascals, Ronnie Spector and The Chambers Brothers!
 
So I’ll be looking for all of the friendly (and sometimes zany) faces at ASPPA19 I saw at last year’s conference and I want to see a bunch of new faces as well! And you’d better be ready to rock those bell bottoms, mini-skirts, go-go boots n’ tie-dye tees! Peace, love & music, y’all.
